Along with the quiet the country has to offer, Black Creek Farm is also a peaceful getaway from the bustle of city life. Watch the birds bathe in the stream from the gazebo, or read a book on the wicker filled porch. Our hammock-for-two makes a great place for a nap. The Sterling Nature Center is close by as is the Sterling Renaissance Festival. Fair Haven Beach State Park and Lake Ontario are just 3 miles away and offer fishing, boating and swimming. Black Creek Farm is located in a wonderful place to make those day trips to the 1000 Islands, Finger Lakes Wineries, Niagara Falls and many other New York scenic wonders. Winter months at Black Creek Farm is a peaceful respite also. There's cross country skiing and snowmobiling on groomed State trails bordering our property. Ice fishing on Lake Ontario, skating on the pond and sledding on the hill are always popular during the winter months. |
