Our Victorian home was built in 1888 for newlyweds Frank and Rose Mixer. It has been lovingly restored it to its former self and filled it with period antiques. Our fully country breakfast is served on a round oak table with china, crystal and silver. Enjoy the formal parlor and it's 1850's sofa and chairs. Our den has a TV, VCR, and satellite dish for watching movies and sports on rainy days. Our four bedrooms each have queen beds and private baths. Air-conditioned in the summer for your comfort, each room is a trip to the past with all modern conveniences. Some rooms have antique iron beds while another has a walnut bed standing 4 feet tall! Outside the main house, are the garden paths to wander and the porch for reading or having breakfast during the summer. The hammock for napping is under the 100 year old birch trees. We hope you will join us at Black Creek Farm Bed and Breakfast and find a little of the peace and tranquility we enjoy all the time. |
