Comments: Although I haven't stayed in this home since it became a B&B ,I do have some brief memories of the place from when I was young...My family lived in this place and rented from Murt Mixer while he worked on the boats. My older brothers and sisters would remember so much more. This is the house I lived at when I was born..1950...but I do remember hearing that Mr. Mixer would always inspect the woodwork on a weekly basis.I also remeber how "Cold" the outhouse was! It was nice to be able to view your pictures here. I was always curious as to what the inside looked like.The house is beautiful as I supected...I will visit soon...Thank you.

the breakfasts, the comfy room, the beautiful outdoors and trails, the "Nasty but friendly" cat and yes, the rhubarb all made for a grand return visit to Wolcott after 15 years. Thanks.

Comments: We now have yet another wonderful experience to add to our Wayne County resume! It was so good to see you again - we truly enjoyed staing in "Carrie's room" this time around - and were pleased to bring our daughter with us.
Elizabeth loved the hammocks the most and I wouldn't doubt that one will soon appear on her birthday or Christmas wish list!
We were so pleased to have followed all of your wonderful advice: Fair Haven on the 4th of July is a very special place! The Renaissance Festival was truly memorable, as were the meals at the recommended restaurants and, of course, breakfasts here!
This has certainly been one of the very special highlights in our meager travels.

Comments: One word WHOA! The house is Beautiful! The decorations and history of the is so interesting. The dolls are beautiful and so well taken care of. And the food, Absolutely Delicious! From the Peacan Chocolate Chip cookies to the pecan apple French toast (lots of pecans!) I could savor the love put into it. And the gardens are ab - so - lutely gorgeous! the stream and variety of plants and trees, made the stay more enjoyable. And for me little things count to....like the kitty - Stickley - and the hammock and airchair. I mean... the place got better and better. My father and his wife loved it as well and again THANKS!

Between the solitude of this retreat and the liveliness of the nearby Renaissance Faire, it makes for a perfect family summer vacation. The fireworks in Oswego were an added bonus. The pictures were beautiful but I could not believe my eyes when we rounded the bend of the private drive-way and saw the cabin and surroundings. Then saw the indside. This place is heaven. I can't believe my luck in finding it. My family and I had a wonderful time. I hope we can come back and try it in the winter for some ice skating on the pond.
